Well online reporting doesn’t work either! The Police called me last week, to tell me that the damage wasn’t criminal damage, and was just a road accident.

Apparently you should now report non-emergency crimes online. I guess this is seen as a better use of resources.
I have now reported the damage that way and we will see what comes of it when an investigator contacts me in “the next 72 hours”.

Well apparently, not only is there not much crime to report at the weekends, but also not much in the mornings either. Feltham Police Station is only open for crime reports from 12 noon until 5pm Monday to Friday.

Someone hit my car between 6pm last night and 9am this morning. No details left, just plenty of red paint and scratches. All covered by insurance but its not the point.

The BBC’s iPlayer video service will soon be available via the Nintendo Wii.
The iPlayer on the Wii is currently being tested and the BBC expects to
release more test versions in late 2008. An early version of the
service is available from 9 April. It is only available in the UK to
