Moving to OSX

Late in 2008 I bought my first Mac after being a PC user for 25 years. I've been doing more and more web design work, and so it seemed a logical decision to move across to OSX as it seems the operating system of choice for a huge percentage of web designed, and there has to be a reason for that.

Since then I've been looking around at all the software available for the Mac, some free, but much to be paid for. Luckily there seem to be a lot of bundles offered on the Mac, and so you can get a lot of software for very little cost. There are also offers on software I come across which get you a discount, so I have taken advantage of some of those too. Here's some of the software I've tried, and what I think of each of the packages.

Please Note:

I only started to develop this site on Friday 29th January 2010, so although I plan to have many packages listed here, there isn't much detail yet. I'll be working through them as quick as I can to update the details.
